The flowers are really 'a-bloomin' on Main Street! If you haven't been downtown to see the beautiful flowers that adorn our wonderful Historic Main Street, you owe yourself a treat!Featured Artists
We have, as always, two of our wonderful artists featured at the Gallery during August: Bud Bradley and Jeremy Duncan.
Bud Bradley

Bud Bradley has been taking photographs since the age of 8 and has refined his technique to a fine art. His photographs of landscapes, the Sierra foothills and Europe (especially Italy) are beautiful to behold.
Bud sometimes experiments with his digital photography but is a traditionalist at heart and loves the film world too. We are glad to have him as one of the premiere photographers in Gold Country Artists Gallery.
Come see his photograph, Approaching Storm, shown above.
Jeremy Duncan

After a leave of absence from Gold Country Artists Gallery for a few months, Jeremy Duncan is back with a lot of new work, and those of you who are Jeremy Duncan fans know how fast his work sells!
Jeremy's oil paintings (the one above is Crashing Sunset) draw a lot of attention because of his style and use of color. He has developed a style all his own, but with traditional elements nicely intertwined with his own additions.
Come by the Gallery and help welcome Jeremy back!
Placerville ArtWalk
The third Saturday of every month is a great time to come by the Gallery and see the Featured Artist's work and meet them. We will also have goodies to munch on and live music. Give your soul a treat and come by the Gallery on Saturday, August 21, 5-9 pm.
Gold Country Artists Gallery also donates 10% of sales for the entire day of each third Saturday to The Center for Violence-Free Relationships. Come by and purchase something for yourself or as a gift and help us support this great organization.
Girl's Night Out

On Saturday evening, August 28, Girl's Night Out will be happening on Historic Main Street in downtown Placerville from 6-9pm. There will be goodies to eat, demonstrations at various businesses (including Gold Country Artists Gallery), a great band at the Bell Tower and a Scavenger Hunt.
Don't miss this fun event!
